I wonder why they are called "whinging Poms"?

Sitting at lunch watching the cricket and there are 2 Poms sitting behind me.

One Pom bitching and moaning says "Bloody Australia - they've won the toss again."

I felt like turning around and saying "you won the toss last time, scored 551 and still fucking lost!"
