I wonder why they are called "whinging Poms"?

Sitting at lunch watching the cricket and there are 2 Poms sitting behind me.

One Pom bitching and moaning says "Bloody Australia - they've won the toss again."

I felt like turning around and saying "you won the toss last time, scored 551 and still fucking lost!"

Where's Hootie?

Whatever happened to the band ‘Hootie and the Blowfish’?
They were on top of the world, and then they just seemed to drop off the face of the earth.

Here are some suggestions :
a) Hootie blew up the Blowfish.
b) Hootie turned the Blowfish into sashimi.
c) Hootie used the Blowfish as bait to catch a bigger fish.
d) Rex Hunt kissed the Blowfish and the Blowfish died.
e) The Blowfish bit its tongue and died from its own poison.
f) Hootie, being the only coloured person in the band, was beaten up by the other white racist band members.
g) All their songs sounded the same and everyone woke up to it.
h) Who cares?
i) They were a crap band and the world finally realised.
j) All of the above.

All I Want For Christmas

Forget your Smoothie-Maker, Juicer, Blender, Milkshake-Maker, and Coffee Machine, this is the only appliance I NEED and WANT!

It is the new Sunbeam Beer Mate. Put your mini keg in the back, and out pours beautiful frosty-cold beer.

I may not need to go to the pub ever again. (I said 'may not need to go')

Maybe if enough people see the Sunbeam Beer Mate on my blog, those wonderful, fantasic, tremendous, fabulous and generously lovely people at Sunbeam might want to give me one for free...

Australia 2, England 0

In honour of the fantastic victory against the Poms in the Cricket yesterday, I am proposing that all women should dress like this for work today.

My Favourite Albums

JJJ conducted a poll on Australia’s Favourite Album.
Last night they aired the Top 10.
The show itself wasn’t too bad - Myf looked hot, Judith Lucy said the only funny thing she has ever said in her life, and it was giving shit to that twat Dicko about crappy Australian Idol – talking about killing 2 birds with one stone.
The only thing that ruined the show was that some idiot Australian Idol wanker made it onto the list at No.32. If I’d seen that at the start of the show, I would have switched off straight away. What a joke.

Anyway, he’s my list.

My Top 10 Albums:
Chemical Brothers – Surrender
iOTA – The Hipbone Connection
Radiohead – Pablo Honey
Radiohead – Ok Computer
U2 – Achtung Baby
Pearl Jam – Vs
You Am I – Hourly Daily
The Verve – Urban Hymns
*The Rolling Stones – Hot Rocks (Best of..)
*The Beatles – Red Album 1962 - 1966

(I’m sure the purists would say that you can’t have a “best of” album, but this is my list, my blog, so I can do what I want!)

Notable Mentions :
Radiohead – Kid A
Radiohead – The Bends
U2 – Rattle & Hum
U2 – Joshua Tree
U2 – All that you’ve left behind
The Prodigy – Fat of the Land

People are strange...

There is a guy in my building who I’ve met many times and he knows my boss and my family really well.
Every time I walk past him in the building or in the street, I wave or say ‘G’day’ and he ignores me.
This morning I’m waiting for my coffee, I notice he is behind me. So I decide that this time I will deliberately ignore him.
I grab my coffee and as I am walking off, he goes out of his way to tap me on the shoulder and says “Morning Mate.”
I just don’t get people sometimes.
