Making the average day more interesting... That's me below in the green, snogging the Pig. We've all snogged a few pigs in our lives.

Death

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately we are all going to die one day.
I often wonder what will happen after this life. I'm not morbid, just curious.
Not being a religious person (after most of my schooling at an all boys religious school drained it out of me), I don’t really know the answer or what to believe.

What do you think is going to happen to you when you die?

Me personally, my view is, it’s like before you were born. Nothing.

What do you think?

We all turn into worm food, that is all...

Bodies are worm food, spirit reincarnated. I figure there is only so much stuff in the universe, whether it be concrete or otherwise, so the extra stuff has to go somewhere.

Or something like that. Sorry, tired, problems clarifying my beliefs in writing.

Floating on clouds in Heaven, drinking a pomegranate martini made of top-shelf liquor, while fine music plays in the background.

Uhh yeah. I believe in an afterlife. An up there, and a down there.

What will be left when I die?

1. About $6.52 worth of soil nutrients (applies to all of us)

2. Memories in the hearts and minds of the people whose lives I have touched (may be positive or negative; applies to all of us)

3. My contribution to the survival of our species on this planet (again, may be positive or negative; applies to all of us)

4. Creative works, music, artwork, written words, ranging in quality from grand technical treatises (haha) to mundane blog posts (applies to only some of us; at least I won't be leaving an inane MySpazz profile)

5. As many speed camera fine notices as my friends and relatives can get me to accept and sign in my final hour.

6. Some knick-knacks to be dispersed amongst friends, relatives and charities and, if I have played the game right, a HUGE tax bill which goes nowhere.

7. Some folks will leave the odd bronze statue with pigeon poop icing (applies to relatively few of us)

Not a bad haul, really. Who needs spirituality?

I would like to think that there is something beyond death - that the spirit goes to another place while the body is left to fertilize the ground etc. But who really knows. I am probably a bit more romantic about it as I can't imagine not knowing how my daughter's life unfolds.

I reckon its gonna be 24/7 bangin Lindsay Lohan shitwise with some extra coke and hookers thrown in for good measure. Or something similar.

Says so in the Bible...near the end.

I'd like to think there's something 'there', but I wouldn't count on it. That's why I'd like to live to a healthy 100, and make the most of every year :)

I am not going to be buried, but cremated and sprinkled somewhere. Maybe someone will wear a little of me in their locket ! eww

AND i want to be a pleasant ghost checking on people and scaring evil mofos.

I would like to leave good memories for my little one and hopefully see my grand-children, and help them financially in their future.
