Decades ago in QLD we had Sir Joh Bjelke-Peterson who was born in NZ. We tried so damn hard to give him back, but they wouldn't take him.

Also there is that Karmicheal Hunt who is another obvious Kiwi/Islander or some kind but plays for QLD and Australia.
I was born here, to south african mother (born pretoria) and aussie born (but half english/half german) father whilst my mum was visiting Oz. I went back to SA as a 2mth old, and then travelled back and forth ever since. Although born here, im also a dual citizen, and was raised the SA way both here and in SA. I speak fluent Afrikaans and Zulu, and consider myself to be either aussie OR saf (often depending on whos winning he tri-nations etc)
